You have the option to sign in with Google OAuth, or to create an account the old-fashioned way. Your email address will never shown to the public (but don’t discount the possibility of this site one day being compromised).
Feel free to use a throwaway, though you won’t get the digest emails which I find helpful to remind me to come back here.
